    • Obituary - SKOWHEGAN, ME - Anthony Collins Van Dyck Jr., 40, died tragically in a car accident on Saturday June 13, 2015 in New Gloucester, Maine.
      He was born May 16, 1975 in Westerly, Rhode Island, the son of Dr. Anthony C. Van Dyck Sr. and Marie (Sidoti) Van Dyck.
      Tony grew up in Greenfield, MA and recently moved to Skowhegan, Maine from Burlington, MA.
      He attended and graduated from Greenfield High School, Greenfield Community College, and RITOP School for Mobile Electronics.
      He owned and operated his own car audio business, Turkey Hill Audio for many years.
      Tony was a member of the New England S.P.L. car audio competitions.
      He loved car audio, electronics, snowmobiling, downhill skiing, jet skiing, body boarding, gardening, fishing, loud music, playing the drums, fixing anything and everything. Tony cherished the time he spent with his family.
      Tony was kind, genuine, funny, loving, caring, brilliant, determined, thoughtful, and helpful. He had a superior attention to detail.
      He was also an entertaining father, supportive fiancé, loving brother, wonderful son and true friend.
      He is survived by his life partner Misty Loomis of Skowhegan; his children, Abagail Lynn and Anthony III both of Skowhegan; his father and mother, Dr. Anthony and Marie Van Dyck; his siblings, Meg Van Dyck of Greenfield, MA, Peter Van Dyck of Austin, TX, Liz Van Dyck of The Grateful Dead.
      Viewing hours will be held on Thursday June 18, 2015 from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Smart & Edwards Funeral Home, 183 Madison Ave., Skowhegan, Maine.
      Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Friday June 19, 2015 at 10 a.m. at the Notre Dame de Lourdes, Water St., Skowhegan, Maine.
      Donations may be made in Tony's memory to his children, Abagail and Anthony III, C/O Misty Loomis, 37 Elm St., Skowhegan, Maine 04976.
